The housing system is built around the assumption that home values ahpuld only ever go up. When they fall, lenders stop lending and builders stop building. If you don't address this, you fix nothing.

While interesting on a theoretical level, no amount of driver education (or lane building) will fix traffic. We need high-quality options to the car keys so people can bypass traffic altogether.

SCOTUS has ruled that MONEY=SPEECH. You can't pass laws to fix this. A constitutional amendment is needed. The non-profit Move to Amend has been pushing for such amendments. Check them out.
