Thanks. I just wanted to emphasize it's all gone when they can't sell oil. And I'm trying not to be carried away but it really seems it is already difficult (it's not only refineries that are burning, oil terminals too).

I don't think they are getting actual help, like - anything for free. From what I heard so far, they have to pay for Iranian drones, N Korean mercenaries or Chinese tech. Russia has no real (non-commercial) friends.

Do you have a map? In order to take Odesa, Russia would have to take Mikolaiv. And before they take Mikolaiv, they need to take Kherson they briefly occupied in 2022. There's no chance Russia can take Kherson this year or even next year. No Russian Odesa in this century.

It's the other way round. NATO (and very slowly USA) is following our ideology against Russia. In Eastern Europe, we hated Russia before USA became a thing. Ever heard of two guys named Pulaski and Kosciusko? Do you know why they went to fight for US independence?

That's somehow in Russian DNA. Already during the tzars, they knew of "immense natural resources" and they were unable to use them "really well". Then permanently inefficient USSR. Then Putin recreating USSR. I see a pattern here.

Sure there were other divisions, I was just explaining the difference denoted by term "tankie" (and its origins). Even today, some Marxist Leninists are not tankies (=they condemn Stalin AND Putin).

It's not a slur, it denotes a very real division in the Western left, originating from the 1956 invasion in Hungary - those who ACTUALLY believed in left wing ideas condemned the invasion, those who loved Russia just because it's Russia, supported it (along with the namesake Soviet tanks).

Only tankies, that's a meshugene subgroup of the left. A true leftwing person (attached to ideas such as: democracy, anti imperialism, anti colonialism, LGBT rights, anything the right labels as "woke") - should be against Russia.

When Russia invaded Georgia, not only he dd nothing to codemn it - he rewarded Russia for this invasion with that stupid "Reset policy". When you appease a bully, you encourage him to do more evil. So yes, Obama is partly to blame.
