I’ve been given concrete reason to get back into writing and revising some old unfinished projects.

Now I just gotta put the books down so I have the time to do that stuff instead.

October Vintage Horror Paperback Day 13!

THE LITTLE PEOPLE by John Christopher.

The most shocking thing about this book featuring S&M Nazi leprechauns is that it goes in an ultra boring “quiet horror” direction rather than being any fun at all.

I’ve never seen this before! Neal Adams Black Bolt?! Wow!

I have only one laser disc, which my girlfriend got me years ago, and it’s the pilot episode of Twin Peaks.

Kinda sad I’ll never be able to play that thing.

It’s a super easy writing trap to fall into when just writing off the cuff, but I think those “had”s need to get weeded out more often during revisions.

Once past-tense is established, I don’t think “had” needs to keep being used over and over again.

Also, I might just be nuts.

Think my unhinged literary opinion is that some people use the word “had” way too fucking often.

Once Frank enters the picture, the show becomes an all-timer.

There’s a weirdly stacked cast in that movie. Not sure I’m actually gonna go back and finish it, though.
