Or allowed Barbra Streisand 's Higher Ground albums on the Gospel charts (she would have debuted at #1) until a few weeks later and blowback from people because it was a Jewish based album. They are very particular at times.

But not the first #1 rap record....which it is. This technical term from them is contradictory. It's because Debbie is white and not from the Hip Hop scene....kinda like they don't consider Kesha a dance act (not from the clubs) but that's all she does. Very odd.

Paul Grein runs this column that when he references Rapture says it not rap. His first column was the week Rapture went number one ..he calls it featuring rap but not really rap. Nelson George was the hip hop editor back in the day for Billboard says it rap. But he's no longer there and Grein is...😡
