Iconoclast; or, the Death and Resurrection of Lazarus Keaton is available now. A ridiculous, near-future cyberpunk neo-noir explores what happens when the ultra-wealthy get to do whatever they want. Of course, regular people need to fight back. And they do.

"Filled with moments of discovery and underlying questions about feelings and what it means to be alive, Iconoclast is a powerful story for modern times. It uncovers the goodness in adversity and angst and introduces a powerful story of genetic experiments, survival tactics, and what it means to be (and stay) human."

People who still live in this fucking bubble are so obnoxious.

Congrats, you never saw reality. No fucking shit, you probably still believe in the free market and hear campaign stump speeches and get very inspired.

I’ve seen a lot of this sort of pushback On Here and I think it’s important to note that (at least what I’m seeing) everyone saying this is white. Ask your Black friends and Latino friends and Arab friends if they think this is a new phenomenon.
For those tempted to say Young Republicans have always been this way, they really have not. When I worked on campus and did bipartisan college events after, they were very much not like this.
That's why groups like YCT and eventually
TPUSA formed - because Young Republicans weren't radical enough.

I'm not sure what it says about me that I cannot connect with post-Isaac BC,NR, but I suppose it's something.

I like long songs, damnit.

It's the most normie thing ever, and it'll continue to blow weirdo minds that normal people aren't okay with the stuff they're willing to put up with.

Over ears remain the best for comfort, at least. I just don't like lugging over ears around because they're bulky or fragile.

According to SCFL Pro rules, I'm basically the US (Uncle Sledding) Champion.

I've done a lotta tip rolling, and I'm either L or XL, depending on the brand with silocone tips, but I find the foam ones uncomfortable over longer listening sessions.

Divinus Velvet tips spoiled me tbh.

If you ever feel like venturing into that realm, there's a million options out there now, tons of different ear tips, etc., and (IMO), you can get a pair of ~$50 IEMs that sound as good as like a $300 pair of studio headphones these days as long as you get the right fit.

You don't understand how much you need to genuinely love writing to do this for more than like six months.

My pitch to you: wired IEMs for music so really good noise cancelling
dvewlsh.com
I've run into a problem where I bought myself nicer headphones, amps and such, and now listening to music is such a joy that I struggle to do anything while listening lol

This whole process is absolute fucking torture and misery.

It even is for well established, award winning writers right down to the fresh hobbyists.

Just straight drudgery.

Let's talk about what the process of submitting short fiction used to look like, shall we? And about what it looks like now.

I started like ten years ago and it was sorta tough. I put it aside and came back to it in 2022 and it's just straight up miserable.

I missed a call I had forgotten about by like a month because I had all this other stuff going on. It's too chaotic.

Feel like I haven't interacted with folks on here much recently.

That's okay. Sort of.

Nope, I have not. I'll check it out.

Come live here. We've got a lock on the industry.

I've had NJPW World since it launched, well, I did. I canceled it last year as the last three or so years have been a drag for NJPW.

This has made me go 'ooh, I need to re-sub.'

Then, voila, there it is.

Got led into my vet's office with my dog last year, and on the wall was just this massive ass Israel flag. The bag I was carrying had a Palestine flag pin on it.

It was... a weird appointment.

Can we just do it for real?
