It’s been vaguely achy for a while but it’s a little worse now so I’m gonna have to be a bit more careful with it.

the knuckle joint of my right pinky hurts when I’m moving it in certain motions which probably means I need to rest it. It’s the hand that holds pots when I’m cooking so I would assume that’s what’s irritated it cos the pots get heavy

If I can make them look ok I’ll be happy enough. The paper these are printed on is so much better than the ones all my old prints were printed on. I’ll need to try to sell the rest of those somehow. and then I’ll have to test some of them out gradually with this new printing place

But if they turn out ok then I’ll know I’m on the right track. if not then it’ll just be back to experimenting to figure out what else to do. I knew I’d run into trouble when it came time to try printing things it’s just frustrating

Ok let’s try again. I lightened the twojamie one a bit and am trying a different cmyk conversion too. And I’m also going to try getting the timerogue comm printed too to see how it looks. getting them done real small so they cost less as I just want to check the colours

Then again I used to use photoshop to convert my art bc I had it on my laptop but since it’s dead I dont have it anymore so I’d had to use an online converter and that might also be part of the problem. Urgh I miss my laptop so much

It’s the first of my iPad drawings to be printed and they appear muddier on some screens than my old laptop art did anyway. I worry about getting my older arts reprinted if they’re all going to end up a bit fucked too.

I got a test print done of one of my more recent drawings and it came out darker than I’d like it to so I’ll need to experiment a bit bc it’s probably just going to be the cmyk limitations. Dunno if I used a less ideal profile when converting it but that’s what tests like these are for lol.

I do like. GET that Chibita and the other side charas aren’t the focus for ososan and that Iyami and Chibita got plenty of time in the spotlight back in the osokun era, having essentially stolen the show back then. I get that the merch centres the matsus now. But. I still wish Chibita got more…

Looking back at a bunch of my old Ososan arts since it’s been 10 years since it aired in Japan and like. It was probably one of my most productive periods for art, especially during that first season. I’d love to have that energy and motivation to churn out lots of art again;;
