I spent a really long time NOT writing during a good portion of my adult life but the last 5 years it's been constant and cathartic and now I don't have that

I've been dealing with a flare up of my chronic illness since the beginning of September. I spent 16 days in the hospital and am still recovering, waiting for the go ahead for a surgery that will improve things. In the meantime, my creative well has dried up. I can't wait to get back to writing 😭
