Since they have the games, they should give us the option to buy them too
So many people who are already paying for the sub would also buy them separately, and those that aren't on the sub would have the opportunity to play them
That sounds like a win-win for all parties involved

It's definitely possible
They probably considered it, but then they decided to go the subscription route because they're charging for their online service
For them to charge for the service, they added all of these games into it to justify the price tag
It's not a terrible price for all the games
