Pleased to share my new article on the value of reading climate fiction as political theory. I argue that this helps to enrich and decolonise our ecopolitical imaginaries and the ways we envision just sustainable futures.

Definitely! Let’s arrange a chat soon☺️
Thank you so much Arife. I am so pleased that this is relevant to your fantastic work in rhetoric!

Excellent panel yesterday on "pathways to a biodiverse future". @guyshrubsole.bsky.social started with a celebration of what we can experience as abundant nature, despite all the bad news and shifting baseline. Sights of (here Devon) temperate rainforest fragments & lichens always cheer me up!
That would be great, please do!

Congratulations Carlie, I just finished reading your chapter and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I would love to use it in my class! And I am so pleased that the concept of “ecopolitical imaginaries” was helpful 🙂

Yesterday I had the pleasure of introducing Mauro Lubrano’s new book ahead of his lively conversation with Sean Fleming. Congratulations on a topical and important book, @maurolubrano.bsky.social
I really enjoyed this podcast with @jemgilbert.bsky.social and @profafinlayson.bsky.social I came to it for insights into British politics, I stayed for the regressions. But it was the discussion on the crisis of liberalism that kept me through it.

EXCLUSIVE: Europe is rearming and one country is using defense money to beef up the army's ability to fight climate change.

I found it's a growing trend

We got a message from the university to remove any use of the "DEI", "diversity", "equity", or "inclusion" from all public-facing documents. They said that even "biodiversity" is being flagged by the federal government. We live in the dumbest timeline.
