The journey is a long one. It's a mistake to think one can defer all of life’s offerings (friendships,experiences, etc) until you get the letters “MD” after your name. Living your life/being good to those who love and support you...choose THAT, whatever path you choose. #medsky

As some see fit to disassemble the years long efforts to bring quality education and care to children with chronic and complex conditions, I call for a commitment and investment in their learning and well-being. They deserve no less.

Behold #toddlers at play- as it resembles something of a (literal) collision of beings with clashing agendas and varying communications skills sorting out their wants and priorities. Victory tends to go to those more verbal only some of the time. it ain’t pretty.

As a pediatrician caring for some of the most vulnerable in our society--children with complex conditions, congenital syndromes, neurodevelopmental issues--we should mark this move for the disaster that it is. Special ed saves money and improves over LIFETIMES.

Current #AI tech may be better suited to recording and synopsizing patient histories than is being piloted here. Necessity (doctor shortage) may be the mother of invention (AI PCP app IRL)...but chances are, it ain't baked enough YET. Soon, just not yet.

Went a bit afield to the Taunton River. Lovely and complicated by many, many blowdowns. Banjo was a champ for the many times we had so portage over big trunks and shoesucking mud. Still, glad to have sampled Mass's longest undammed river!
