I argue almost all of them are two dimensional characters, at least as a public facade.

It's interesting when one of them reveals that they might not just be two dimensional.

I am also suspicious that the same woman who followed a school shooting survivor around mockingly can be a hero.

It's 'only' city council/mayoral elections this year in my home town. Literally only the mayor in my city/district was running a contested race.

I still dropped my ballot into the mail today.

There was a TV series I actually enjoyed about a decade ago titled "Person of Interest" that really kinda fits this viewpoint. Luckily the protagonists in that series were generally the good guys.
