When there are 12 hour waits in ERs & food prices have skyrocketed they MAY sort it out but still vote MAGA🤦‍♀️

Millions depend on SNAP-I am one of them. I will be hit hard next month but I am worried about the working mother with 2 or 3 kids. What will she do when Thanksgiving comes and her kids are not in school for lunch over the long weekend?
YOUR neighbors are on SNAP -you just don't know it.

I am a disabled senior (over 65) who works as a psychotherapist, and am on SNAP.
I hold a PhD but can only work part time. I am SO grateful for what I get from SNAP but please don't think I'm eating high end food. I shop at Walmart to make the money last-but it does NOT last the whole month.

SNAP (Food Stamps)benefits will not be sent out in NOVEMBER.
This effects MILLIONS of adults & children.
Many grocery stores depend on SNAP money. Economists anticipate that the losses will be passed on to ALL consumers-plan for 50% INC in food bills!
SNAP&MEDICAID effect ALL of us not just poor.

Due to the federal government shut down, the US Dept of Agriculture has informed the State of CO that NOV 2025 SNAP benefits cannot be issued at this time.

I've had to write BLUNT letters to MD's re my patients explaining THEY KNOW HOW MUCH THEY WEIGH. Do you think they CAN'T read the scale? Their symptoms look Immunlogical! Stop shaming them -draw blood!🤯

My patients have "normalized" covid: "it's Flu, no big deal."
They & ALL of their children have had covid 4,5, 7 times.
But for them it's so 2020.
I'm immunocomp, still in lockdown. 30yr daughter has #LongCovid neuropathy.

Long Covid is playing russian roulette w/ 5 bullets.

When I refer a patient to a specialist & they have a ⏫ BMI ALL symptoms are explained away by "just lose weight."
