Even those nations whose leaders show affection for Trump. They laugh behind his back and loathe his utter stupidity with contempt.

Well, as long as it doesn’t require tying myself up in knots. Kinda hard to hand in the assignment, right?

I like that the jacket is buttoned right over left, in the style used in women’s clothing.

I use BayWheels, wherin I rent the bike. I pay a yearly fee of $180 for unlimited rides (of up to 1hr; most of my rides are < 20 min). I ride about 500 times a year, making it about 36¢ a ride.

Dude. While storage capacity has increased exponentially, there ain’t no bank of storage capable of holding all that many names.

Easier to just list those GOPers who aren’t pedos.

Can we get a couple folks in teenage ninja mutant turtle costumes to confront ICE? No weapons, but otherwise, that would be super ass cool.

I use San Francisco’s BayWheels bikeshare almost daily. I pay an annual fee of $180 (after taxes) and take about 400 rides a year. I also have a Waymo account. I ride that about 5 times a year: fancy dates in tux/gown/heels.

Of course, with every solution, there arises tens or hundreds of new problems. But since a solution was found, by definition, society has improved in some way. So there is always some incremental progress. If you can’t recognize this, well I can’t help you.

Of course there will be regression. But it’s undeniable that the arc of technology is in improvements to society as a whole. Creating new technology is not random. There is a purpose behind the attempt: to solve an existing and urgent problem. By solving it, we get improvements.

Technology is built by humans to extend the capabilities that humans cannot achieve. If you look at the history of human civilization, technology has occurred everywhere and they help humans do things that is not possible without that tech. And future iterations do it faster, better, cheaper.

History is on my side my friend. Technology always exceeds human abilities. I mean, that’s almost tautological.

I have ridden in these vehicles numerous times and I have worked as an operator in these vehicles. I’m quite familiar with their capabilities. The thing is, their abilities only improve over time.

Technology always advances. Your dismissal of AV tech is no different than the dismissal 130 yrs ago for automotive tech, or 110 yrs ago for aviation tech.
