And it's not new either. It's just a more advanced form of machine learning- which has been around for decades. I think the narrative around AI would change pretty quickly if we referred to it correctly and actually taught people what it did- and why it's problematic in terms of copyright

I feel like AI has become such a buzzword for companies to throw around but the vast majority don't actually understand what AI is or does. AI as we know it today cannot generate new ideas- it's not intelligent. It only 'learns' when it's fed new ideas through algorithms. It's just code

Random thought- we should really start referring to 'AI' as 'machine learned' instead because calling it 'artificial intelligence' implies that something intelligent actually happens. When it really isn't anything new and it only learns from existing information that it takes from a bunch of places
