Patients want access to GPs yet there are unemployed GPs

£1.7bn to ARRS additional roles ~ 5m appts/month
£600m for Pharmacy First to reduce demand on GPs ~ 500k/month

Yet just £80m for ARRS GPs & core GP funding 20% less ccd 2015

Half the cost £1.15bn = 11k GPs & more appts

Both are possible⚖️

4,200 newly trained GPs just graduated from training – yet many can’t find work.

The Government needs to fix the GP unemployment crisis today.

The graphic shows an illustration of patients queuing at a GP surgery, waiting for appointments, and doctors queuing at a job centre to highlight the GP unemployment crisis - with the copy:

An extra 1.26 million appointments waiting to be delivered every month - if only all newly trained GPs could find a job.
