I get the sentiment, I’m not a fan of ai being used in the final products even if it’s great, though I also get if it’s placeholder art. We are in a horrible spot due to how ai has been fed art not in the public domain.

Ai is a tool and there’s going to be bad apples using it, especially when it’s used on artwork that’s not under public domains. It was pushed out early due to how out there it was. This doesn’t mean it’s inherently evil as it can give unique ideas if used for concepts instead of finished products.

Don’t get me wrong, use of ai can be detrimental and stupid when it could be instead down by an actual artist, but random small elements like this are excusable versus actual art theft like what happened with Bungie and Marathon.
