We miss Obama in the UK too. What a dignified, erudite president. When we visited NYC in 2017, I loved greetings cards which had his picture on and said ‘Party like Obama’s still President’.
Good luck. It’ll take a lot to shift the current orange stain on the fabric of the US.

Yes - we last visited in 2019 (Ma, Vt) the majority of people’s first words were to apologise for inflicting Trump on the world. We are going to wait - we chose Canada last year - but we will be back to see the Red Sox at Fenway and queue for cannolis in the North End 😁. Just vote him out please 🤞.

So, if Pritzker’s crime is being governor of a state where he is not keeping the citizens of its largest city safe, then Bill Lee, Rep governor of Tennessee should also be jailed for not keeping the citizens of Memphis safe? They have a higher crime rate than Chicago?

All these ‘investigations’ are for the same reason that Comer carried out ‘investigations’ into Biden’s ‘crimes’. After 18 months, he was invited by Raskin and others to bring his findings to Congress. He never did. However, the frequent repetition of ‘Biden Crime Family’ in the media stuck.

So, if they’re not racially profiling, how do they choose who to go after? Those who have ‘committed crimes’? How do they know-do they have a database of convicted ‘criminals’ on the loose? If they haven’t been convicted then they’re innocent aren’t they? Some idea of their protocol would be good.
