when am i ever going to need to know x is a deeply ignorant and arrogant perspective forgivable in the young but when i hear people of an age saying it good heavens

my calculus journey ended some time ago but i learned a way of thinking, and that i could think productively about difficult things
co-sign. lately there seems to be a lot of ‘what is the absolute bare minimum we can expect of students and how can we aim lower’ and i don’t like it!
I don't love that I have to fight TikTok for attention, but 1) that's the world I live in, and 2) there never was golden age when every student did the reading. There was just a time when there was a consensus that teachers should assign and teach longer texts.
everything u see here i owe to popular music

everyone always has a really good reason for whatever fuckery they do so i try to be completely arbitrary and sans merit with mine

television was a colossal fucking mistake
normalizing racism by premising this as:

a debatable topic
an acceptable frame
a person of credibility with whom discussion is possible

0/3 is indeed bad
Is the Reform MP who says she’s driven mad by TV adverts full of Black & Asian people a racist or realist? How many migrants would the Tories expel? & should the UK be selling fighter jets to Türkiye?
