rather than worry about the protests this weekend, I want to focus on the positive energy. I wrote this song in 2020, during the BLM protests. It's about the power of everyone coming together, and how it's always right below the surface

rehearsals are coming along! less than a month to go, didn't screw up the lyrics! some of the solos need a touch of work, but getting there.

There's one vocal bit in the cover song I'm ending that's giving me trouble. The first of three repetitions I'm nailing, so I'm sure I'll get it

it's fun tracing the evolution of skills in the pandemic. this was pretty early on. Tried something with lighting that didn't work out for the first minute. Early experiment with 2 cameras, I developed that a little further too. And this guitar solo is so fun!

not even a question. The Real Thing has some great songs on it, but isn't a great album overall, particularly given Angel Dust right after it.

yeah, he was amazing! just a non-stop flow of melodies and timbres, ever shifting and evolving. so casual, and super nice too!
