[Image 1] Liel, a vampire girl, was transformed into an alien! This species has six limbs, bug-like mouth parts, and a leathery coat-thing over their backs. Liel talks excitedly with the alien she got her transformation from. She knew aliens were real -and she's glad to meet one!

Maybe there’s a time line where both Skee-Skee and Liel get the Furrowphage removed and then they get to recover together? Or this could be totally unrelated to the Furrowphage Quarantine Event. Liel is just really excited to meet an alien! Luckily the two can communicate using Skee-Skee’s native language (Represented in English here so readers know what’s going on :’D)

It’s not often that I get to draw a science/ body horror themed TF sequence (Because most of my shapeshifters function on a magical system).

This sequence is based on an event/ thread from my rp group~

Liel wasn’t the first character to be captured and experimented on. Skee-Skee (aka 001) already underwent infection and testing. The Furrowphage Pathogen that was removed from the alien must have retained some knowledge of his race, the Ssai-ch-ssa. Now it has passed that information along to it's new host, Liel (013).

Shortly after she’s infected by a Furrowphage, recycled or otherwise, Liel will start to "unravel". The pathogen interrupts and/or confuses the signals that allow Liel's soul to control her undead body. The magical worms that make up her insides act erratically or otherwise fall limp.

But deep within the "programming" of the worms is the instruction to keep Liel "alive" at all costs. They just needed a unifying "command" from Liel (the command to shapeshift) to snap out of their chaotic wiggling.

This is the last page of this sequence. Skee-Skee still has no idea if his neighbor is one of his own kind or something else. He will try to comfort her regardless!

The Ssai-ch-ssa are not my creation! I can’t give you guys an in depth explanation of this alien species. But Doodley Stew did mention to me that female Ssai-ch-ssa have longer mouth parts and… chin wigglies? I thought that was a fun detail so I tried to give Liel a slightly longer “snoot” and “beard”.

Let's meet the Cuyaba dwarf frog (Physalaemus nattereri). Maybe we should start with seeing the front of it?
