My drugged girl and my drugged self have come to bed in the hopes that the worst of the fireworks are over, although an odd one still goes off. I now am trapped in bed for as long as she'll stay safe with me as she is woozy and unsteady still.

For background, I have a cat who gets ill to the point of possible heart attack and definite cystitis/other health problems any time there are fireworks, 2 cats a normal amount of cat-scared, and I have cPTSD. This week is bloody impossible.
