It wasn't marketed well so I do feel it will do better streaming now that people are even hearing about it. The score is great. Kander and Ebb are remarkable.

It was kind of a mess getting it on the big screen. It did well at the movie festivals but no major studio would pick it up. Then I feel like they rushed it to the screen to make back their money quickly, so it wasn't well-marketed.

She didn't use live vocals, is one major problem I see with it. The soundtrack sounds too engineered. She also pissed off a lot of fans when she canceled concerts, so I think that put her a bit behind.

How do you NOT notice that? It was the first thing I saw when the picture flashed on my screen. The blank white space in the middle of the red lines. Come on. We're not stupid. Like when I was caught with a pot pipe in college - "I'm just holding it for a friend." Sure I was.
