Hi #TTRPG peeps! If you need any video editing or video-related services let's chat. I'm a video editor with a full-time gig but am looking to build up my freelance portfolio and looking forward to talking with you!
Whenever I attend a Critical Role screening or event I always feel like I am amongst my people - Congrats Fjord and Jester! 💙💚
I bought a bass guitar this week largely on impulse and…I’m feeling this vibe!
to be honest I've always found it kinda fun to end up being a little bit crappy at whatever I try to do... Takes a lot of pressure off, and I feel like everyone can tell when you're doing something just for the love of the game
Takedown is great! I think it’s just the fact that *something* has to be at the bottom…I’d probably put the Free at the bottom for that reason.
Ok ok, after two more rewatches I will cop to this opinion being rash…but their two songs are bangers.
Hot take: The Saja Boys songs were better 😬
At the end of the last session our party finds itself mostly incapacitated and trapped in a realm of demons. The DM asked us to roll up some demon characters to play in the meantime and I had an idea…

12 hour dnd session! My old ass usually begins flagging at hour six so…..yeah…pain.
This is pretty rad, I’m going to have to track this down. This scene also feels weirdly prescient…makes me think of an AI bro agonizing over creating the perfect prompt 🤢

I have this one in my GoG queue…need to give it a proper try.
I went to get my car washed and when they were cleaning the radio they tuned it to a station that plays 2000's Nu Metal. And after listening to banger after banger from my youth I realized that I totally had a Nu Metal phase in college. These songs are great! No no, they are amazing.
Finally, a legacy I can be proud of :D
So I thought I was being sneaky drinking lentil soup from a coffee mug during my last zoom meeting but then halfway through I realized how psychotic I must look chewing after every sip. 😑
If I’m being honest I knew it was going to be a shitty year when Hbomberguy didn’t release a video last December.
Or, remember how you could have a song on your page that would play any time someone visited? We were truly living in the good times.
Work demands some after hours attention but what I wouldn't give to be playing DAI or prepping my Call of Cthulhu one shot right about now...
2) If we can agree that Ferelden and Oralais are stand-in’s for England and France respectively. Then I believe that the Tevinter Imperium is supposed to be the U.S. - In this essay I will
I’m about 10 hours into DA: Inquisition and I’m in love with this setting and lore. I do have two hot takes though: 1) “Dragon Age” while metal as heck, is not a fitting title for the series. The name should instead be reflective of the conflict between the Mages and Templars as that is at the core.
Yea the dungeons got stale despite the team’s best efforts to justify it. The Mage vs Templar storyline was intriguing although ultimately it felt like both sides were a little boneheaded (maybe that’s the point?) - interested to see what repercussions this story had on the rest of the series.
Ok so I ended up liking all of the companions a lot with the exception of 1) Fenris who agreed with my actions a total of zero times and forced me to kill him and 2) Anders who is ok but has the decision making prowess of a 2x4.
For me, the haters were wrong. I thought Dragon Age 2 was really fun 🤷. I’m even more interested in playing Veilgiard now :P but first I have some DLC to play and then it’s on to Inquisition.
Currently playing through the Dragon Age games for the first time. Started with Origins and thought it was great if a little dated mechanics-wise. I was told to not look forward to DA2 but I'll tell you what. It's got its hooks into me. I'm really enjoying it.
You are way more generous than I :P
I haven't seen Krull since I was a kid! Might be time for a rewatch.

The one that came to mind for me was Van Helsing - perhaps more the trailer than the poster. I got all of my friends hyped to go see it and....uh...it was a let down!
Sometimes during a D&D session I’ll get an idea in my head that I think is funny and will spend too much time photoshopping an image to post to Discord. My DM just labeled them “High-effort shitposts” and you know…..fair.
