#WIPWednesday A pair of mitts - the Sleekit pattern on Ravelry. Patons Kroy "Purple Haze" They won't match, but I'm not frogging the first one and redoing it. First one was large through the wrist and fits elsewhere. Second one is using one needle size smaller. #knitsky 🧶

I was a crocheter first. I knit continental and hold the yarn in the same way I hold it for crocheting. My problem earlier was trying to pick up 3 stitches on the thumb of a mitt. I should have put it down and come back to it when my mind was fresh.

I love the old needlework magazines. Mom downsized and we couldn't keep all of them, but I kept a box. The clothes in the ads are wonderful - I remember dressing like that.

I'd post a #WIPWednesday except what I currently have is a non-photogenic mass of thread. It might be frogged shortly - I'm so far above my skill level I need a parachute. I know how, it's doing I'm having trouble with. I'll post it if it happens to make it to finished object. #crochet
