Osprey still at Belvoir lakes today.
djrlincsbirder.bsky.social
Also hundreds of released/reared Mallards for shooting.

Absolutely! ( the natural head of silver fish were cleared out to make way for stocked Carp- the way of so many fisheries nowadays), no wonder Otters thrive. And they've put electric anti-Otter fencing all round. Osprey still there today, wonder how long it will stay.

Although Belvoir lakes are in Leics., the county border is is defined by the shore/bank on the East side, so the Osprey in trees, at times may have been in Lincs. #lincsbirding

Had a super afternoon watching this late juvenile Osprey at Belvoir, Leics., perched and fishing. Blue ringed 8M7, anglers say it's been plundering fish for 3 weeks. #UKbirding

Many Lincolnshire birders will know Ben Ward, he's now living and birding in Yorkshire. This morning he refound the White-throated Needletail on his Scarborough castle patch. His flat list is on nearly 150species! #Lincsbirding

View of the brigg from our caravan at Reighton sands. I reckon I would have seen the Needletail from here if I hadn't have dashed to the brigg.

Got the White-throated Needletail at Filey Brigg this evening. Some happy chappies up there. Bempton/Flamborough head in background. #ukbirding #Needletail @flamboroughbird.bsky.social
