🚧 Noise Notice: Lagoon de-sludging at the Pollution Control Centre is underway Oct 27–Nov 14 (9 p.m.–7 a.m.). A temporary noise exemption has been approved by Council. Thanks for your patience while we complete this essential maintenance.
⏰ Don’t forget to set your clocks back one hour before bed on Saturday night. Daylight Saving Time ends at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 2, 2025, returning us to Pacific Standard Time.

That means an extra hour of sleep, earlier sunrises, and darker evenings ahead. ☀️🌙

A new legacy bench celebrates former Mayor Bud Gardner’s decades of service to Hope. 💙

Thanks to carver Hannu Yliruusi & Mayor Victor Smith for volunteering their time to install it — a true reflection of Hope’s community spirit.

🌸 Hope Blooms Big! 🌸 Hope’s Communities in Bloom volunteers took home 5 provincial awards - more than any other BC community! 🏆 They’re also planting 400 more daffodils this fall, bringing the town total over 2,000. 💐

🚰 Silver Creek Boil Water Advisory Rescinded 🚰

Good news - the Boil Water Advisory for the Silver Creek Water System has been lifted.

✅ Fraser Health has confirmed recent water samples show no presence of E. coli.

💧 The water is now safe to drink, cook with, and use as normal.
