Especially in the scene where Michael gets his getup back and puts on his mask once again is like when a basketball player makes a comeback after being gone on retirement so long (Jordan is a perfect example)

And the fact we get the return of Nick Castle as Michael Myers/The Shape for a brief shot was OH SO PEAK! Shout to James Jude Courtney for donning the mask for most of the movie! The mask is soooo much better here this time! A replica of the original, but worned out

And “the Halloween 3” masks from Halloween III make a cameo when we see 3 kids walk around with a witch mask, the jack o lantern mask and the skull mask. A nod from the Silver Shamrock masks from that movie.

From disregarding the Michael Myers and Laurie Strode are siblings bit, therefore: Halloween 2 never happened in this timeline, and just like every movie past 6, nods to the late actor Donald Pleasence and his character, Dr. Sam Loomis (CONT)

Just started the “40 Years Later” timeline with the first movie, holy shit it was amazing!!! There’s so much I can try to fit in this post, first we get ALOT of callbacks to the first 3 Halloween movies, several scenes recreated from the first movie (CONT)

With 3 being the proposed “anthology” John Carpenter wanted to go with.

You really can’t do these movies without Michael Myers.

With 1, 2 and 4 being my top 3.

Now that NBA2K26 is brining returning songs from previous games, I wonder if they can bring back “In The Air Tonight” by Phil Collins! That song brought so much aura in a basketball game!
