wipwed silly student!Byleth tumblr request to break up the horror/murder/angst I've been buried in lately. If I ever stop mentioning the matching Dimileth uniforms, it's because I'm dead.

Jeralt could have sworn the prince's eyes actually sparkled when he saw Byleth standing in his classroom. His smile dimmed a few degrees when he noticed Jeralt standing next to her, but he couldn't suppress it entirely.
"Welcome to the Blue Lions, Byleth!" he said with a bow. "I-- We're all so glad you chose our class. And if you need anything, just-- oh."
"What is it?" Byleth asked when he cut off abruptly.
"Ah. It's just... You also have the old style of uniform, with the silver stitching," he said, and held his forearm next to hers. "We match."
"It's just some thread, Your Highness," Jeralt grumbled. "Try not to get too excited."
"Right. Yes, o-of course, Sir Jeralt," Dimitri spluttered, clearly having forgot he and Byleth weren't alone. "It was merely an observation."
Jeralt pierced the younger man with a look that he was confident delivered the message you'll be observing my foot up your ass if you keep this up.

5. Byleth helped Dimitri and his classmates fight off some scumbags, and on the way back to the monastery, he offered to show her around and to have her join him in the Kingdom (mans did NOT hold back.)
