Yeah, I’m baffled at someone thinking Suikoden IV was OK too.

Jokes aside, not even a single Gust game mentioned. Might not have been the best era for mainline Atelier, but Mana Khemia and Ar Tonelico (particularly 2 in both instances)…

Da Garn is the latest in the line of Sunrise's back catalog remasters and brings the Brave remaining remasters down to half. Anyway, the differences here are staggering.

That’s how I’m mostly experiencing the new game at the moment, and it sure is wild trying to figure out how many of these characters have more that two lines of dialogue.

It’s honestly kind of terrifying how the Pokemon franchise keeps throwing out all these banger character designs/concepts for what are so frequently extremely minor roles.

Wasn’t buying, but it’s always funny to see what stuff ends up in the B&M toy second. Most stores, particularly the larger ones, carry some degree of nerd-focused stuff, though not always shelved together, particularly when it comes to weird anime items.

On a vaguely related note, I did end up rewatching the entire first series of Shana a couple of months back for Convention Panel reasons and… boy, was that revisit a painful experience.

I don't know if I have watching another Magical Girl Raising Project anime in me - I'm all about twisty pulp, but I struggle to think of another anime that's quite so aggressively mean-spirited towards both it's characters and the audience.

The thing in my life that actually makes me feel the oldest is that I’m now at that age where random people I don’t know feel the need to say “Good Morning” when I walk past them, occasionally veering into weather-related small talk.
