He still had an Emeritus, ghostly presence at Penn State in the 80s, although I never saw him. I feel like I absorbed a lot of that Weltanschauung then, and it is hard to shake. It's also easy to see how it slides over into herbalism and MAHA and the paying your doctor in chickens mentality.
