1500 people were finally transported to safety in Anchorage today. Much more aid is needed.

Our NCGOP sucks bigly. NC GOP House and Senate are republican majority, and Senate Whip Phil Berger and House Whip Destin Hall can not decide on a budget between the 2 houses but can find time to redraw maps again. This is the 5th redraw the GOP has done in NC in this decade.

Spoton. I replied to a 'breaking news' comment when the chats broke. A guy posted, and the sky is blue, grass is green. Comments were quick to accuse the guy of being Maga. I defended him, saying, I agree, if anyone thinks this is breaking news about Repubs, young or old, you are deluded.
