This is what it looks like when someone feels both besieged and unaccountable (mostly the latter)

A main organizer of VC Defensa in Ventura County was rammed in his vehicle by federal agents and taken into custody this morning. This video is from VC Defensa IG and shows the ramming. Organizers are thinking he’ll be taken to LA MDC—headed there now
Oz is pretending to be stupid because he knows Trump has no idea about the math and will fly into a rage if this is made obvious. He's feigning acalculia and ignorance to protect Trump's flimsy, over-inflated ego.

He should just say it's a 15,000% discount. That would make Trump very happy.
Oz pretending to be stupid so Trump won't feel so alone.

Behold, impossible arithmetic!

Dr Oz: "You'll notice, President Trump, these are discounted from $242 to $10. I don't know what the math is on that. We can't even calculate it. It's too high to calculate."
Yes. The Republicans -- all of them -- own this. They have always owned it. They have the power to reign in the atrocity. They choose not to.

SCOTUS, the House, the Senate. And all the Republican governors who say nothing. All the Republican state officials who say nothing. It's on them.
It's like "The Emperor's New Clothes", but where everyone except a tiny cabal around him are shouting, "Hey, you're buck naked and it ain't pretty", and a tiny cabal around him are trying to shout louder so the naked emperor can't hear.
Small frightened, angry men who don't know what they're doing. Competent administrations doing the right thing are not afraid of the press. This shows consciousness of guilt -- either of malfeasance or fuckuppery.
The Administration look like so many frightened, angry, incompetent buffoons. I hope the backlash from this and the other daily atrocities is sufficient to knock the orcs and despoilers out of power long enough for us to reform SCOTUS and begin rebuilding.

I don't think most of these raging hypocrites recognize their own hypocrisy. They aren't idiots, but all their smarts are devoted to arguing their own case in the moment, not consistency, logical rigor, or principles. They mime principled argument and devotion to the truth.
Republicans are attacking the 1st Amendment* and the 9th Commandment, yet only 52% disapprove.

For decades to come many dissertations will be written trying to explain this.

* Also most of the rest of the amendments when they apply to anyone other than themselves.
> YouGov poll released this week found that 55% of Americans disapprove of Trump’s job performance, including 46% who “strongly disapprove.” On average, recent polls show about 52% of Americans disapprove of Trump’s job performance.

Only 52%?!

He knows different kids. 25- to 40-year-old kids.
Either their bodies are really big or their heads are really small. Or a combination of the two.
Skeletors stick with skeletors.
They should melt down all his "gold" tchotchkes and cast a new Epstein-Trump friendship statue. Put that in place of the arch.

We constantly talk about Dems' struggles to reach deeper into the culture and access people who ignore politics.

You know what issue is penetrating deep into the culture? ICE's masked raids and kidnappings! It's on Rogan and in country music. In the Manosphere!

Americans have gotten more than $21 billion back in their bank accounts after being cheated and scammed by big corporations, thanks to the CFPB.

But Trump and his Administration love grifters and scammers.

So they're trying to kill the agency holding them accountable.
Are permits involved beforehand? Are they backfilled in afterwards? I just assumed there was no law and people just jumped to do what he demanded.
A name for the myriad Trump scandals.
It's small potatoes relative to other crimes, but it's symbolic defilement. We need to wash Trump's filth off the nation.

All these monuments are monuments to him. To restore our pride we need to at least get rid of these brands he has left on our civic body.

Republican officials and leaders need to stop having secret group chats that someone later exposes. This happened again, and the creepy crawlies under this particular rock were, in a word, insane. My write up and mini-rant in today’s piece, link in the replies.
