I've been saying it forever: Overwhelm demand with supply of housing and prices will come down. Case in point right here. Denver has built a LOT of #rental housing, and prices have predictably come down, shockingly. Housing is a human right. Housing before #NIMBY s. Build baby build.

I doubt anyone else commenting read your article, but I did. It sounds as though you think forcing MAGA to change Senate rules to get the government open again will have a noticeably more significant impact than making it about health care. Why?

They already are finding workers who are willing to for for less than the wage required by the visa rules. This change would simply allow them to do it legally by changing the visa rules.

Indignation for lawless treatment needs to be manifested in real and forceful actions. You can't be arrested unless you break the law, and you can't be removed across state lines unless you are accused of breaking the law and have been extradited.

I think these people might need to aggressively file suit against the government for false arrest immediately upon having been falsely arrested. I think this may be the way to capture and hold the narrative. And a lawsuit for having been taken across state lines as well in this particular case.

2/ start making mistakes that are too costly down the road. There is NO WAY that it is humanly possible for sustained 60 hours a week optimal productivity. This is a lie important (and not so important) people tell themselves, probably to feed their own egos about the importance of what they do.

Oh ffs. Maybe being depressed leads to soda intake! Look to see whether they controlled for that possibility. (doesn’t look like it). I know for certain that when I personally am stressed, it affects what I consume. I know this is true for others from other studies.

3. by atheist and agnostic parents, discovered religion on my own and became very strident in it, and then had an exceedingly difficult crisis of belief where I very much wanted to believe, but objectively could no longer sustain it. And I have studied many religions along the way.

2. lot of the latter. And then there are those who were raised as atheists and haven’t experienced as much direct harm from religion, and tend to have the least animosity to it. You’d probably like the company of this type the best, in general.
