I am being forced to move out of my home. It has grown too hostile, and actively making it impossible to work. But, because of this, the small amount of income that I have been gaining is gone. I have a place to live, but it'll get harder to continue streaming. 🧵

Streamers hate the fact that that garbage is on our streams too, but most of us cannot afford to stop streaming. All of us that care are doing what we can to stop it. It is all any of us can do. Please keep a level head, we will all get through this.

First: For the love of god, don't harass the little guys. You drive people away from your side by being an egotistical brat.
Second: Report ICE ads as you see them. This lets Amazon and Twitch know that you do not want to see that
Third: Contact the ones using the ads. Contact Twitch to tell them.

Secondly, even if every twitch streamer stopped streaming, the ads are still there. On Hulu, Amazon Prime, Netflix, Youtube, everywhere. Forcing streamers off of what they love is not solving anything.

Dude, i'm being so for real. you are not a streamer, and do not understand how it works. There is nothing any small streamers can do that will get these motherfuckers to stop showing these ads. It's AMAZON. What is stopping you from talking to them directly? Oh does it suddenly not work like that?

We can complain to, but remember. a lot of streamers, this is their JOB. Their LIVELIHOOD. To a lot of streamers, walking away is the same as quitting a job with no backup, and in the current job market, it's impossible to find work.
