With a total of 792 patients from 43 centers across 18 countries from the 5 continents were included in the WATERLAND trial, making it the largest and most globally representative randomized clinical trial conducted in acute pancreatitis to date.

The abstract with the results of WATERLAND, an RCT comparing lactated Ringer's solution vs. normal saline in fluid therapy for acute pancreatitis, has just been submitted to the UEG Week Berlin October 25 @myueg.bsky.social

We have worked hard on this new edition, we will deal with new topics on September 26th and 27th, all online and with 3 months to watch the talks, soon we will give you more information.

The first edition was a success, almost 500 people registered from 50 countries, with talks by 34 international experts in pancreatology with the aim of improving your clinical practice
