I did read the full article before posting my thoughts. I understand the context and what she may have meant to say. However, mentioning increased testosterone, especially when she has no proof in the matter, is particularly dangerous for women athletes in the current context of sports.

100% I agree. the worsening is very visible & it’s not like players haven’t been speaking about this for the last few years either

just sad that it takes an injury like this (and a bunch of recent withdrawals/retirements for mental and physical reasons) for them to finally listen to the players.

it really is an awful injury to try and recover from. I wouldn’t be surprised if you are right and he misses next season (which makes me so sad for him)

yup agreed, I’d love to see the tours step in and figure something out. the mental and physical wear and tear has been *very* obvious this year.
