All 20 available 30s exposures were stacked, resulting in a total of 10 minutes integration time. The long exposure is the reason why the stars are elongated.

The location of the comet is where it was expected according to the orbital elements from the MPC.

Primates of all types (including humans) benefited greatly from her work. I'm so thankful that we are able to see these magnificent species (and many others) as part of the web of life from which we all come, and not as mere "animals."
