Black and white photo of a couple sat at a pub table. The long exposure has made the figures blurred.

Thank you. I reuse my print chems in bottles with vacuum wine seals - it seems to work quite well so maybe not all is lost. I have a warmer - a flat plate that you can put chemicals on to keep warm/warm up but it's not got temp control - just up/down. Maybe I'll test it out.
debrawilsonsays.bsky.social
Oh, I think the fact that the chemicals don't last long is a deal-breaker. Thanks so much for the input.
debrawilsonsays.bsky.social
Thanks! That sounds doable. I've seen some great results from other people with home developed slide film.

Thinking of developing myself but not got a reliable way to maintain temperature. Do I need therapy or encouragement? #BelieveInFilm

Glad you've survived - but stressful all the same. Hope that's the end of it for a while.

I remember Velvia being marketed as professional, but not anything else. Was a long time ago - but I've looked but through some scans and the do look pretty good. Enjoy shooting it!
debrawilsonsays.bsky.social
I used to use it way back before it was professional. If I remember correctly it doesn't suffer so much from reciprocity failure. I loved it and can't remember why I stopped using it - maybe the price of it?

Cyanotype print of a jackdaw on a hawthorn tree. From my Jackdaw series 💙
A cyanotype print of a jackdaw on a hawthorn tree. The image is blue but the branches are black as is the jackdaw in the centre of the image. The tree has white blossom on it.

Great shots. Love the lighting - moody but not sinister. Also agree with Priscilla.

That all look like absolute crackers.

Thanks Ade. I'm working on it. I wished I had my Blad with me in Tenerife - will definitely get out and about with it soon.

Thank you. I’m thinking about doing more colour work as I’ve been almost exclusively b&w for years.

Thanks Greg. Good to know. Any tips on helping things along?

Set myself a target of 15 shots per day to shoot all my film on this trip. Trying to get my photo mojo back. 5 down, but it’s only lunchtime. #CamerasAndDrinks #BelieveInFilm

Beautiful. The shape of the tree in the foreground is a worthy star of the shot.

Haven’t been out with my camera for quite a while. This was taken earlier in the year in Cornwall.

I didn’t risk 120 as maybe erroneously I figured the 35 mm canisters might protect the film a bit if I couldn’t get a hand check. Next time I’ll be bolder.
