I'd always figured only the royal family was thousands of years old and the rest the population had normal life spans, their technology took the queen and caused the disaster and the king knowingly decided to let the knowledge die and didn't teach young Kida to read. That's just what I'd figured.

I feel like them moving further right is exactly what split the left wing vote and made people so unenthused there was too low of turn out.
