boruto is genuinely poop from a butt and i believe the only reason it’s doing even relatively well is because

1. the name behind it (naruto, obvs) and
2. the characters are edgy and dripped out. the character designs are carrying that manga.

also for my BL girlies, i finally finished Payback and it was kinda ass, ending fell so flat, and the dubcon/enthusiastic participant ratio was piss poor. the best part of the entire series are the little side stories the author keeps adding bc yoohan seems to actually like jay now. also the art.
