answering your question: i don't know, but in such case i believe that they can speed up the process only by acknowledging that inducing enlightenments for the sake of having just another brilliant thought and not acting upon it is more futile than masturbation.

i'm talking about enlightenment in a very broad sense. from daily flashes of insight to a proper zen state, visions, channeling, and so on.
i've grown tired of people talking about their great "discoveries within oneself" when outside you can'd spot a slightest change.
