I’m delighted that Grahame Park in Colindale will benefit from the Met Police’s Safer Streets Summer Initiative, backed by Labour-led City Hall.

Grahame Park residents will see more police on patrol, and tougher action on thefts, burglary, knife crime and antisocial behaviour.
One year ago today, the country elected Labour to deliver change.

Fixing the foundations. Building a fairer country. Delivering national renewal. That work of change has begun.

Much more work still to do, but I'm deeply proud of what we've achieved so far.
Inspired by the fantastic work of many local groups, I'm starting my own regular community litter picks.

I'm starting in Edgware on 13th July from 11am, and I need your help. Sign up to help me clean up our community here 👉 docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F...

I am heartbroken to hear the news of the horrific incident in Ahmedebad. My thoughts are with everyone affected.

This Labour Government will end the feudal leasehold system for good by banning new leasehold flats. But what about existing leaseholders? As we transition to a commonhold future, Labour will strengthen the safeguards in place to protect you and offer a path for conversion to commonhold 👇
The Conservatives let fraud and serious economic crime spiral hopelessly out of control. This Labour government is taking action.

But we can’t do it alone. Major tech companies have let their online platforms become rife with fraud - and millions of people are paying the price 👇
The Conservatives failed to maintain flood defences, despite the risk of flood damage continuing to rise. Thankfully, Colindale and Burnt Oak will benefit from Labour’s investment in new defences.

Another mess the last government left for Labour to clean up through our Plan for Change.
Labour's £70m investment in new radiotherapy machines at hospitals including the Royal Free means faster cancer care for our community.

The new technology will cut waiting times and deliver better outcomes for patients in Hendon. This is Labour's Plan for Change in action.
The previous Conservative Government allowed fly tipping and litter on our streets to soar. Labour is giving councils the power to seize and crush fly-tipping vehicles to clean up Hendon.

Here’s a message from Labour’s Environment Secretary Steve Reed 👇🏼
Leaseholders across the country are getting a raw deal.

Today I met with the CEOs of Rendall and Rittner, who manage Colindale Gardens, to raise residents’ concerns about service charges, service quality and communication directly with them and hold them to account.

A good day to read my interview with @davidpintod.bsky.social, the son of a Holocaust survivor 🕯️

The MP said that while the “big story” is written in the history books, it's only the “millions of little stories” that portray the “full scope of the story of the Holocaust that is passed on to us”
Leaseholders are being ripped off by managing agents charging excessive fees. This Government will end the feudal leasehold system for good. While those reforms go through Parliament, Labour MPs will hold managing agents to account to lower their unfair and unaffordable service charges.
Wishing everyone who celebrates a blessed Good Friday and a very happy Easter.
The first night of Passover is this Saturday, but I know that for many households in Hendon and across the UK, preparation is already well underway.

As we get ready for our first Seder I want to wish all those who celebrate a very happy Passover, from my family to yours.
I run at least 6 surgeries every month, across every part of our constituency.

If you have a problem or concern, I'm here to help - just email [email protected].
Delighted the Government is funding flood defences on The Greenway, which runs through Colindale and Burnt Oak in my constituency, and across the country. This money will make local homes more secure.
14 years of Conservative Government left Edgware High Street in a terrible state.

I have lobbied BT to remove two phone boxes which had become a magnet for vandalism and litter. I'll continue to work hard to revitalise Edgware High Street for residents, shoppers and businesses.
I'm holding a surgery in Mill Hill this Friday. I hold surgeries across the constituency regularly. If there’s any way I can help, please do get in touch.

To book an appointment just email me at [email protected]. I’m here to support you.
A privilege to pay tribute to the work done by the Royal British Legion in Parliament.

To RBL volunteers in Hendon, including the brilliant Edgware branch, who embody selflessness and duty, and for your tireless work all year round to support our servicemen and women - thank you.
Diagnosis with a comparatively rarer form of cancer can leave patients with a disproportionately lower chance of making a full recovery.

We must ensure those suffering from rare and less common forms of cancer, and those yet to be diagnosed, have as much cause for hope as possible.
