It's 100% official now: King of the Hill is ending its run on Adult Swim - for real this time - after exactly four years of being back on the channel (and 13 years of airing on Adult Swim overall: 2009-18 and 2021-25).

BBC One begins broadcasting in High Definition.

BBC One debuts Wallace & Gromit's World of Invention. Peter Sallis is once again the voice of the cheese loving inventor.

On 3 November 2010, BBC One begins broadcasting in High Definition.

Wallace & Gromit's World of Invention is a 6 part science-themed series that was broadcast on BBC One from 3 November to 8 December 2010.

The programme focuses on inventions based around various themes, and consists of live-action films interlaced with animated claymation segments hosted by characters Wallace & Gromit, featuring a side-plot connected to that episode's theme. There was an unseen character called Goronwy, an archivist.

Peter Sallis was the voice of Wallace and John Sparkes was the voice of Goronwy. Live-action films were voiced by Ashley Jensen and Jem Stansfield.

Don't Unleash the Beast is a gameshow hosted by Pete Firman and began broadcasting on CITV from 2 November 2020.

Many years ago, the ancient people of Halian were rich in treasures, but plagued by greedy thieves. They buried their riches in caves, shielded by impenetrable obstacles, and guarded by The Beast. but the beast grew, and eventually turned on its masters, forcing them to flee in terror. Now The Professor, an expert on all things Halian, needs help to overcome the obstacles, retrieve the treasure, and avoid being captured by The Beast.

Itch is a children's action-adventure television series from Australia which was first shown on CBBC in the UK from 2 November 2020.

Based on the books by Simon Mayo.

Itchingham Lofte loves science, especially chemistry. He is also an element hunter. He is collecting all the elements in the periodic table, which leads him to conduct sometimes destructive experiments in his bedroom. Itch obtains a rock which he believes is a new element and has strange properties. At first no one believes him, but soon various people (all connected to the powerful GreenCorp) are chasing after the strange new rock.

The Children Act is a feature length drama that was first shown on BBC Two on 2 November 2020. Based on the novel by Ian McEwan who also wrote the screenplay.

Fiona Maye is a judge in the Family Division of the High Court of Justice of England and Wales. A case is brought before her involving 17 year old Adam Henry who is suffering from leukaemia. Adam's doctors want to perform a blood transfusion, as that will allow them to use more drugs to cure him. However, Adam and his parents are Jehovah's Witnesses, and believe that having a blood transfusion is not right. Fiona goes to the hospital to see Adam. The two talk, with Fiona attempting to determine what it is that Adam really wants, and whether he has been persuaded by his parents.

The cast includes Emma Thompson, Stanley Tucci, Fionn Whitehead, Ben Chaplin, Jason Watkins, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Anthony Calf, Rosie Cavaliero, Eileen Walsh, Nicholas Jones and Rupert Vansittart.

Criptales is a 6 part comedy drama series, consisting of monologues, based on factual research and the experiences of British disabled people, since 1970. These were curated by disabled actor-writer Mat Fraser, with each episode written and performed by disabled artists.

The series was shown on BBC Four from 2 November 2020.

Taking part in the series were Ruth Madeley, Liz Carr, Carly Houston, Jackie Hagan, Robert Softley Gale and Mat Fraser.

On 2 November 1982, Channel 4 began broadcasting.

On 2 November 1990, it was announced that rival satellite broadcasters BSB and Sky had merged. The company would be known as British Sky Broadcasting.

Over the next few months, 3 of BSB's 5 channels closed and were replaced with others.

Stephen Hancock was born on 24 November 1925 and passed away on 1 November 2015 at the age of 89.

He is a television and stage actor, musical director and pianist.

Stephen was most famous for playing Ernie Bishop in Coronation Street.

Your Mother Wouldn't Like It gave us one of the first acting roles for Steve Ryde, who would be the announcer for CITV in the 90s, star in Wizadora and produce the saturday morning classic, Dick and Dom in Da Bungalow years later.

Your Mother Wouldn't Like It was a kids sketch show broadcast on ITV from 1 November 1985 to 13 January 1988. 3 series totalling 21 episodes were made.

A unique aspect of the show was that the performing cast were almost entirely children who were part of Central Junior Television Workshop based in the Midlands.

Familiar concepts from anarchic children's programmes were present, such as slapstick humour featuring custard pies and gunge as visual punchlines, and a healthy disrespect towards authority. There was also parodying of other kids shows and television celebrities.

The cast includes Ian Kirkby, Paul Stark, Tom Anderson, Philip Wombwell, Karen Murden, Christina Norris, Steven Ryde, Simon Schatzberger, Karl Collins, Pui Fan Lee and Tayla Goodman.

The Hunt is a 2015 nature documentary series shown on BBC One from 1 November to 13 December 2015.

The series is narrated by David Attenborough.

The Hunt takes a detailed, audio-visual study of predator-prey relations - as well as the importance of respective ecosystems within a world facing greater environmental challenges brought about by the impact of the human race. Rather than simply concentrating on 'the blood and guts' of predatory behaviours typical of past documentary series, The Hunt focuses more upon the diverse strategies predators use to catch their food, and also the various evasive techniques prospective prey use to escape death by predators.
