I was talking with @untidymusic.com earlier, and he mentioned that he is not getting that many submissions for Metal and a few other genres "to make it really interesting".

Lorna Shore's "Pain Remains" was surprisingly my favorite album of 2022, because of the subject matter and the quality of their music.

So, this was something. Instrumentally awesome, without any doubt. The drums are punishing, the guitars soaring and the overall sound is just massive and bigger than life.
Vocally and lyrically, however, I have issues with this.

That was tremendous! Doomgaze full of sorrow and melancholia. It's melodic and ethereal, without leaving any of the crushing heaviness behind. I doubt you can tune instruments any lower, holy crap!
Absolutely loved it!
