Replaced by an AI voice that can't pronounce Camelon.
EXCLUSIVE: We spoke to the woman who has been the voice of ScotRail trains for 20 years, who learned she was being replaced by AI only after a friend heard the new synthetic voice onboard

Dear Mr. Clegg

I have started a business, selling the contents of your house

I knew when I launched I did not have legal access your house

Without this access my company will not be profitable

Others have told me I have a flawed business model, but I disagree

Please advise how I should proceed
I wish everyone at #ga2025 would stop saying this is the first time we've had a conference session. There was one in 2006 to launch the strategy for young people, led by none other than Rosie Frew!
John Williams's speech to #ga2025 giving lived experience of palliative care is possibly the most moving address I've ever heard at a General Assembly.

Whatever Jesus said about love, many Christians find it easier to redefine love than follow his straight-forward command. They constrict the circle of who counts as a “disciple” and limit the sphere of love. Love wasn’t for anyone. Just those who think like you.

EXCL: Polling company Ipsos have given me exclusive polling on who the public think will win Celebrity Traitors.

When the line-up was leaked, they polled the public.

Stephen Fry they saw most likely to win (16%), followed by Alan Carr, Jonathan Ross and Kate Garraway (6% each)

In electing a serious and fearless progressive, the College of Cardinals looks like pretty much the only electorate in the world that hasn't had its brains boiled by far right propaganda & toxic social media. For a Catholic of my generation, this is an almost unbelievable development.

Something amazing happened to me yesterday. I went to a free concert at a local church - The Gustav Holst Ensemble - & half way through the second piece - Brahms Piano Quartet no. 3 - I noticed that tears were streaming down my face. A moment of absolute beauty. Never known anything like it.
Have you seen @douggay.bsky.social's metrical paraphrase of this Psalm? Very apt for the moment. (It can be found on p27 of ojs.st-andrews.ac.uk/index.php/TI...)

President Macron humiliated Donald Trump on live television. He shut him up and fact checked him mid sentence.

Trump sat there and smiled. #StandWithUkraine

Good work from Macron. A relief to see him sat there, speaking truth, injecting moral clarity.

Pres Trump: ‘I think Europe has given $100bn [to Ukraine] and we’ve given, let’s say, $300bn plus.’ The most reliable figures show the EU has given $138bn to Ukraine, while the US has given $114bn. In 2024 Europe and Canada provided nearly 60% of NATO’s security aid to Ukraine.

Calling Zelensky a “Dictator” must be where the line is drawn.

It is my sincere hope that the whole political spectrum in the United Kingdom will speak with one voice in opposition to Trump’s lies.

Jesus never called his followers to defend Christianity, a “Christian nation,” or even their Christian churches.

Jesus called them to defend the poor, the oppressed, and the hurting.

Stop manipulating Jesus for the benefit of a few. Get to feeding, healing, and peacemaking.
