I don't know where my Instagram algorithm is coming from but suddenly all my ads are from like Bergdorf, Neiman Marcus and private jet companies and that is just not in my range 😂😂 I'm at a comfortable JC Penney over here!

Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing?

I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?

As we are having our HVAC replaced and it's a 2 day process it's lovely that the weather is very mild. Unfortunately it's a bit warm with the windows closed and fire pit weather for the masses... and fire smells are one of my top migraine triggers 🙃

My two most boomer takes right now are:
1. No one "faces" cash anymore and I know it doesn't change anything but I hate it
2. No one knows how to properly bag groceries anymore. And yes, I'd much rather just do it myself but sometimes it would be awkward to insist
