No! Coverage stats are volatile overall and especially from year to year. To still be top 20 with this small sample is impressive!

I don't remember blitzes getting to this version of Josh Allen like they have for most of tonight
danpizzuta.bsky.social
And then they called a timeout before the next play. Great stuff.

Make the Commanders lose this challenge on principle

Don't care that London stepped out, let that stand

This is a "here's the weirdest result from our 100,000 simulations" ass season

This is the correct target distribution

It appears that the Falcons leaning into their good players and no longer finding strange obsessions with the ancillary pieces has led to better offense

For the "he's not wrong" group:

It's a 3,000+ word essay that talks about the whole Huff thing more than that line — and frames moving on from Huff/players that don't fit quickly as a plus in roster building.

At the same time, per NGS, Huff currently has more pressures than every Eagle in 2025.

I knew when posting, there was a 100% chance someone would point out the most insignificant line in the whole thing

Huff had no impact last year. His absence does not matter.

Been thinking about these two bits from the Almanac

After the Chargers, Mike McCoy went back-to-back years going from the Siemian/Osweiler/Lynch OC in Denver to the Rosen OC in ARI. Whew.

Few non-interims have felt more completely in over their head than Brian Callahan's Tennessee tenure

Both @ollieconnolly.bsky.social and I are a little obsessed with Kliff Kingsbury’s run game in Washington. We discussed what makes it so hard to stop on the pod.

A lot of fun crazy throws from Drake Maye but the casualness of changing throwing angles shows how much control he's in right now. First play of the game:

Hollywood Brown TD dots. Excellent blocking to clear the path.

It is incredibly fun that Jameson Williams became A Thing

I read this as “running to Dart” and I kinda think that applies too
minakimes.bsky.social
The degree to which Daboll is running Dart is making me a little uncomfy!

Eagles ran the Goedert underhand pass two weeks ago with the TE initially lined up behind the trips. Change the look a little bit and late move to get Hurts under center is a nifty way to shift that up right before the snap.

Odafe Oweh for Alohi Gillman is a super interesting trade. Chargers run those 3-safety looks but Tony Jefferson has played well after signing and Elijah Molden should be returning. Ravens get another safety to allow for movement they lost when Washington got hurt. Oweh gives LAC more edge juice.

The Jaguars have never done something normal in the red zone
