the reason people hc shen yuan as a shut-in is either that they are also porn-reading shut-ins (perfectly fine) or because they have been raised to believe they will nolonger be reading hundreds of chapters of porn once they're a "proper adult" (incorrect, you can read so much porn with adult money)
