Once again, for those in the back, our native pollinators love dandelions and thistles. There was an abundance of these butterflies out today.

#LifeHack get rid of your weeds by calling them flowers. 👍

10k steps a day isn't hard until you can't do it. Please consider donating to the Irish Heart Foundation, they provide a vital service to the country, & as somebody who uses their services, I can tell you I'll never be able to repay the debt I owe. The link 👉 events.irishheart.ie/fundraiser/D...

My dogs found a life hack for that issue today, they brought the rain back in with them!
Listened to Robbie Williams' "Come Undone" while doing this. Started going to an art club in ABII & have found it a useful way to put my feelings on paper for my kids.

I'll send it to the next sponsor on my fundraising page. 10k steps a day 👉 events.irishheart.ie/fundraiser/D...
I'm sure there were better opportunities to let Keir Starmer hear that for the first time.
Ctrl+a+d is a great way to deal with those emails.

Good luck, grief is like a wandering fly, you can go through any stage at any time.
A double rainbow at that!
Had a friend in the polytunnel today. If you don't like spiders...too late. Spiders are great little hunters, mostly hunting the things that like to feast on me!

I stayed here watching the fish dance with the current of the river. Lovely sight to start the day.

And how is the doggy taking it? 😂

Getting ready to go again, next year in June I’m planning a 450km (280 miles) solo from Húsavík to Dyrhólaey in aid of Irish Dogs for the Disabled.

That's it, the penalties, I knew I was thinking of something! I could easily see the rescues happening, beautiful country, but loads of holes in unexpected places.

Enjoy the trip! 🤛
The 4x4 might be restricted to locals as well I think, not that'll you need it. But I'm sure you've done your homework. Enjoy the trip, looking forward to the photos!
Are you going through Iceland? I didn't think they allowed that? I remember being there and being told to stick to the edges.

Either way, enjoy, it's a lovely spot full of old American jeeps and muscle cars!
😬

In the olden days, the Pagans would have sacrificed the local billionaire and thrown him in the bog to try and counter this. I'm not saying it'd work, but can we really afford to not explore all options?!
You can still have brown bread with low cholesterol butter and water for dipping, so yeah, maybe prayers!
If you're avoiding the grapefruit because you've been told it doesn't react well with certain things, be careful with the OJ, that can also cause reflux and discomfort. Sorry to be the bearer of middle aged news!
Now that does sound interesting, must look it up. Next sport to cross is ice hockey and hurling!
No, unfortunately not, but they definitely have sets there. There's quite a few with fresh dirt around the entrance. There's a lot of activity there during the day, so I'd say they stay put until dark. The sets are usually bigger than what foxes/rabbits have, probably because they're mostly muscle!
I think rugby league would be more similar to American Football than rugby union. I didn't know about that tour though, thanks for the info.

I think for the pro's who make it in American football they'd be mad to switch to rugby, or try it nowadays. One bad tackle, twisted knee and you're done.
Yeah, they came down by me last night!

There are loads of badger sets over by ZipIt if you're ever looking for them.
The deer are almost on top of you up there, but yeah, it's a nice trail when your eyes get used to the dark.

There's a lot to be said for communal silence up there.
Has an American Football player ever been sought out for a rugby team? Played American Football once. I wasn't invited back. And I was hardly of Peter Stringer quality. 😂
