Oh I can make it more tragic.

Nobody with the echo can see any memories before her arrival in Gridania. And when Lia sees echo visions of her past its from other people’s perspectives. She only saw a brief (2 secs) memory of herself from her father when they met. Then nothing else before he died. 😃

They had been sent to confirm if this fabled “Warrior of Light” was Lia, and how quickly her job stone resonated with her confirmed it. Although she had lost conscious memories, muscle memories remained.

Nope 🥲 she has no memories of her parents (or anything) before her arrival in Gridania, but she did meet her father in Radz at Han during Endwalker. Sadly he died during the Final Days.

She is definitely more grounded now. When she first became the Warrior of Light she had no memory of her life before so she had a “fuck it we ball” kind of outlook. But now she has more experience (trauma) under her belt she stops and considers before making choices.

I think although she re-discovered her home city of Radz-at-Han, and Gridania always says she has a home there too, Lia feels slightly adrift. Unsure if it is lost or wanderlust. But as long as she is with Estinien, she doesn’t mind where she is.
